We totally understand the excitement of getting to the beach early! If you find yourself arriving before 3:00 PM CST, please give our friendly office a call to see if an early check-in is possible. If your home happens to be cleaned and inspected ahead of schedule, we'd be absolutely happy to let you check-in early! Just a friendly reminder, please do not go to the house prior to receiving confirmation that it's ready.
Don't panic! Your cozy beach house will be patiently waiting for you. We'll set up a late arrival plan just for your convenience. To make sure everything is perfectly arranged, please give our office a call during our open hours, and we'll take care of all the details for you. Easy peasy!
Check out is at 10 AM CST. This allows our housekeeping team to start their cleaning routine before the next guests arrive!
Unfortunately, we are strict about our 10 AM checkout as we want our housekeeping team to have ample time to clean your beach getaway before the next guests.
Since our office and many of our homes are located closer to the 4-3 mile marker, a lot of our guests absolutely love taking the ferry from Dauphin Island. It can often save you time (depending on where you're coming from) and it's also a really fun, scenic experience for the whole family! The ferry starts at 8:00 AM and the last trip is at 6:30 PM. We definitely advise checking their updated schedules and costs online before your trip down by clicking HERE.
If you decide to drive around, just be aware that traffic can sometimes get a little heavy, especially during peak season. Try to be patient, put on some good tunes, and know that your beautiful beach house will be waiting, no matter what time you arrive!
Amenities & What to Bring
Great question! You can easily check if a grill is listed as an amenity for your specific home right on our website. If it's not listed there, no worries at all! We highly recommend reserving a grill from our neighbors at Beach Bum Services – they'll even deliver it to your door!
We know how important that first cup of coffee is on vacation! All of our homes come equipped with at least a standard Mr. Coffee 12-cup machine, so you can get your brew on and enjoy those beach mornings.
To make sure you're all set for your stay, we advise bringing along essentials like paper products (toilet paper, paper towels), garbage bags, dishwashing liquid/hand soap, laundry detergent, any personal first aid items, and of course, all your beach day must-haves like beach towels, umbrellas, chairs, and toys! Don't forget sunscreen and bug spray! We don't provide these items in the homes, so stocking up beforehand helps you jump right into vacation mode.
Local Area & Activities
Unfortunately, we don't have a "public" pool right here in Fort Morgan, BUT if you're looking for a refreshing dip, you can easily get a day pass at the Bodenhamer Recreation Center in Gulf Shores.It's a great option!
Just like the public pool, the Bodenhamer Recreation Center in Gulf Shores is your closest and best bet for a gym. You can purchase a day pass to get your workout in while enjoying your vacation.

No worries at all! For emergencies at the house, please call any of our dedicated emergency numbers. We'll quickly submit a work order and work hard to get your issue resolved as soon as our amazing maintenance team can assist! We really appreciate your patience as we work to find the best resolution. Please note, though, that internet and television issues are not considered emergencies and will be addressed during our regular office hours. If it’s a medical emergency, please call 911.
