Seafoam Dream

From the moment we walked into the property until we left, we all felt like this was the right fit for our family. Our previous reservation had fallen through last minute, leaving us scrabbling to find something to fit our family. (which can be difficult with grown children and grandkids coming from different towns to come together)Seafoam Dream was that fit! Having so much space for all of us from the open layout to all of the bedrooms with private baths! And then there was the pool that was the bonus, considering that we had a couple of rainy days, so the grandkids got to enjoy that too! Thanks again for the opportunity to stay there and look forward to going back as a family again!!

Overall it was a great house! Pros: Huge house, fairly recent construction Sleeps 12+ (6 couples) comfortably (6 rooms) Each room has private bathroom Elevator is huge plus Plenty of parking Pool/deck are great Kitchen fully equipped 2 fridges - plenty of room for food storage 2 coffeee makers - great for multiple guests Internet works pretty good Roku TV in each room Check-in and check-out was a breeze Front desk was extremely attentive Beach is white sand with pretty emerald-green water Plenty of room on beach to set up tents/chairs etc Cons (these are not deal breakers): Neighborhood is basically a construction zone Lots of new construction going on around property Lots of garbage receptacles strewn along narrow street Combination of construction/garbage along the road detract from natural beauty of surroundings In general house was clean on the inside. Downstairs in the car port and surrounding area had trash all over that we picked up Fridge doors were full of finger prints View of ocean/beach is blocked by other rental properties across the street Beach access blocked by private properties Had to access beach through property under construction May have to walk/drive down the road a bit to access beach in the future when property is occupied View from the beach includes a number of oil rigs within fairly close proximity No shore patrol or lifeguards as far as we could tell Relatively isolated - very few options for restaurants, household goods, or groceries nearby 25-30 minutes from Orange if heavy traffic

We had an amazing weeklong stay with our feet in the sand. The kids loved the pool, and we all were able to maintain privacy in the house. The bedroom options were perfect!!

Entire family (grand parents, kids and grand kids) spent the week on the beach. First time this far out in Fort Morgan, but it turned out superbly. No crowds, easy access to the beach and the house is exactly as described. Plenty of room for all family members and bath associated with each bedroom area is great benefit. Off of main living area bedrooms allowed the late sleepers to catch up on sleep while rest of family enjoyed breakfast. Would rent again.

What a difference to stay in a home built to be a vacation rental. Each bedroom had its own full bath and TV (even though never watched them). Clean and spacious, well stocked kitchen. Half block walk to beach access, very close, but only area renters on beach so no crowds! Be aware 30 minute drive to Gulf Shores, but we wanted to be away from crowds and loved the fact quiet by us. No major glitches, the realty company was quick to respond to any questions. Only thing we wished it had was a grill. We bought a small one at Target.

The view is perfect. You either have an amazing view of the bay out on the back deck with the pool or you have a great view of the gulf as well. The house is fully stocked with everything you need, perfect decor, lovely rooms and a amazing edition of a elevator as well. I will always continue to come back here every year! Such a great location and such a short walk to the beach with the most gorgeous sunsets every night!!
