Patrick House

The location of the house was perfect and was a quick easy walk to the beach. It was clean and and had cute decorations. However, there were some issues with the property that make me hesitant to stay here again. First, several pieces of the railing on the steps and deck were loose causing serious safety issues and the deck furniture was rusted badly enough that it wasn't stable to sit on. There were several cracked tiles on the kitchen floor. The stove top was a little tricky to work out because the burners were either really hot or not hot enough and they are in desparate need of new larger skillets. The mattresses and pillows weren't very comfortable. But, the worst thing was that the AC stopped working at 2 in the morning on Friday and it got very hot, very quickly. It was repaired by 2 in the afternoon, but it took until 9 that night to cool the house back down. I will use Reed rental again, because it was an extremely easy process and the office staff were very helpful and friendly, but will avoid this house in the future.

This house was perfectly placed right next to the beach. It had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. Had a coffee pot, and we found a Keurig in a cabinet. It’s an older home, so you’ll notice some cosmetic defects, but everything was clean and in good working order. We thought it was a good deal for the location. We would definitely stay here again. It’s super close to the marina, and there’s a restaurant there. Grocery stores are pretty far away, but there is a dollar general about 8 miles from the house. Great communication from Reed Real Estate regarding check in. We didn’t need anything at all from them during our stay.

We loved the convenience of just walking out to the beach! Not crowded like Gulf Shores. The house was clean and just as advertised. We plan on making it our place to stay each year!

Very clean, had everything one would need. Just a few steps to the beach. Comfy beds. Cold air. Plenty hot water. Full size washer and dryer. We will be back. The Brooks Family
