5 Sea Oats

Reed is our GO TO for booking our vacations! They have always treated us kindly and they remember our family each time we return! This house was PERFECT for our group of 9 and had more beds to spare (5 bedrooms and a bunk room that sleeps 8)! The dunes on the walk out added a nice ambiance with butterflies and dragonflies! There are 2 fridges AND a smaller freezer for your daily catches. Overall it was cool, inviting and cozy! Don't snooze on this house! Thank you Reed! Can't wait until our next visit!

We stayed at this place last fall with our family the week of Thanksgiving! We fell in love with this unit. While it is an older unit, it is so well and lovingly cared for. You cannot beat the proximity to the beach. The layout made it perfect for the family to come together and fellowship in the open kitchen and living room area. There were 5 bedrooms off the main living area and one large bunk room in the back! The adults loved having their own rooms and the kids loved piling up in the bunk room. The wrap around porch was perfection!! Many cups of coffee were had watching the sunrise from it each morning :). We also loved the space under the beach house. We had some toddlers with us and they loved being able to play and build sand castles right under the house in the shaded sandy area. The kitchen was well stocked. The dryer and washing machine were used multiple times and worked great. The showers were hot and the AC was cold. Couldn’t have asked for more from a beach house or a better price! We hope to continue booking this for family trips for years to come. It’s a real gem!

We stayed 2 weeks in June 2022 Positives: Location is perfect, right on the beach Property management is friendly and responsive Kitchen is well-supplied, including large freezer, old fridge, and new fridge Beds are comfortable Negatives: 2 of 3 freezers quit working 2 days after our arrival. Appliance repair company still hadn't been there to check on them when we left. Dryer quit working. Repair took a week, so we were allowed to use the dryer at another house. Not ideal, but the best they could do. Air conditioner struggled to keep the main living area below 79 in the afternoon, but it was very hot while we were there. Overall we had a good experience and would not hesitate to stay again in 5 Sea Oats or in another house managed by Reed Real Estate.

We loved the location and how much room this little house had! The only negative comment I have is they could have cleaned a little better. There was sand everywhere and lots of dead bugs in the windows but overall it was a great family trip!

Only problem was that they should have turned on the furnace 24 hours in advance. It was great having an outside hot shower when coming in from the beach..

The layout of house was great. Being right on beach was awesome. It’s actually 5 bedrooms with a kids bunk room so really 6. There are 2 full fridges and a large freezer. The outside shower was great. We had a small electrical issue which was fixed quickly. The only negative was the 2nd indoor shower water would not get hot. The rental company maintenance came out to fix it. They requested the owners call a plumber. The owners declined to do so. But the maintenance guy was awesome and worked on it again til fixed. I really appreciated the professionalism of the rental company, not so much the owners. I still would like to rent here again in the future.

The house could use some updates. Dishwasher did not work. Beds were comfortable. Loved the bunk room for the kids. Short walk to the beach. Large fan in the bunk room doesn't look good.
