 Soldiers Creek Golf Club at Woerner Preserve opened
July 2001, and is the newest signature, 18-hole,
championship golf course on the spectacular
Gulf Coast. Scott Clark designed this masterpiece
so that it would be enjoyable and challenging
for golfers of all abilities.
The
lush, green, meticulously manicured course is
owned and operated by the Woerner family, a
world wide leader in sports turf. Woerner provides
turf for numerous professional football stadiums
and elite golf facilities throughout the US
and abroad.
Situated
in a natural “preserved” setting, you will enjoy
spacious rolling fairways, surrounded by timbers,
wetlands, a multitude of wild life and the headwaters
of Soldiers Creek. While navigating through
all that nature has to offer, you will enjoy
a true golf experience while utilizing our brand
new golf car fleet and state-of-the-art, color
GPS system.
Unique
to our course and the Alabama area is our ultra
dwarf grass (tif-eagle) greens. Tif-eagle is
the newest grass on the market and provides
the best putting surfaces available. The greens
are fast and they run true. Rounding out the
facility is a 10,000 square foot practice green
and full service driving range.
Customer
satisfaction is our goal. We have a full service
food and beverage operation and pro shop. Our
friendly staffs include three golf professionals,
available to assist you in all areas of your
